Our chairperson, Níamh Ní Bhroin, was awarded London Vet show’s 30under30 award in October for her work on sustainability in the Irish veterinary industry.

A group of veterinary businesses, member organisations, regulators, academic institutions and charities have teamed up to form a groundbreaking new partnership to catalyse sustainability initiatives in the veterinary sector. The Veterinary Sustainability Roundtable, convened by Vet Sustain, held its inaugural meeting at RCVS Headquarters on 3rd October. The VSNI were in attendance virtually.

The VSNI recently carried out a survey looking into the awareness and attitudes towards sustainability in the veterinary industry in Ireland.
